Chef Chris Mikovich, Handcrafted Catering

Chef Chris Mikovich of Handcrafted Catering

Chef Chris Mikovich has spent more than 35 years in the food industry, from restaurants and private clubs to catering, culinary education, and private chef work. He started at 16 as a dishwasher and prep cook, and he has since catered events for governors, CEOs, community organizations, and families. His philosophy has stayed the same: every guest deserves to be treated like a VIP.

In 2023 Chris founded Handcrafted Catering on two principles: exceptional handmade food and an unwavering commitment to taking care of the customer. Highlights include presenting food at the Forbes 30 Under 30 event in 2019 and catering the main-stage event at Princeton University's 2026 Reunions weekend. He also serves as Head Chef at the historic Present Day Club in Princeton, New Jersey.

Now Handcrafted Catering and The Dery House work together. Whether it is an intimate dinner, a wedding, a milestone celebration, or a large community event, your food is made by hand by people who care about your event as much as you do.
